me, i'm not

I'm loving my current work but I am getting itchy to start my next body of work. Researching it should be the most wonderful/hardest part, which is why I'm anxious. I'd start now but if I get too hard into it I'm going to want to start shooting. Ack.

Anyway, here's some brain candy I've been chewing on... the first is the first song that really sparked it and the second is the most recent one...both have made my eyes well up with tears. Rah.

$$$$

I'm in dire need of money. If I were to make a limited edition of small books of Precautions of a Modern Bird and/or Packrats and/or Self-Portraits as Roxanne (zine sized or so?) would anyone be interested in buying one? I'd like to know before I print and bind a bunch of books and it'd be nice to know while I still have access to the bindery.

I hope someone buys my photograph tonight, $200 would be great.

work, shows, etc

Here's a couple of new images:

More can be found on my flickr.

I got into two shows, one is a book show at Unity in Chicago (there's no information about it on the website however) from April 6-27. A handmade book of my palladium prints from the series "Tattooed Women" will be shown, as well as a wonderful book by Julia Stotz.

And on April 18 Morpho Gallery's 3rd Annual Juried Show is opening. I have work in it, not sure who else is in it but last year there were some great artists in it.
